June, 2002	The initial idea was presented to a commercialization center. It was known as Davces (now Roommart). First partnership was formed with the help of the center. Market research and business plan development was done with guidance from CCTD. Failed in the first partnership due to the lack of interest by the other partners. The first prototype was not completed.	Enrolled as the start-up company of Center for Commercialization of Technopreneur (CCTD) in Multimedia University.
June, 2003	The second partnership was formed with the partners from various backgrounds chosen by the founder. Shifted to an office subsidized by CCTD and utilized the facilities provided to develop the idea. The name of Roommart was initiated and replaced the name of Davces. It simply means ‘a marketplace for rooms’. The team applied for Cradle Investment Program (CIP) while developing the idea with our own funds.	Roommart was engaged to the Memorandum of Engagement (MOE). MOE is a technopreneurship program developed by MDC specialized in enriching skills of the owner of the business. Only 200 companies will be selected.
February, 2004	The workflow of the initial idea was completed. The development work was outsourced to professional programmer and designer. In order to develop the prototype, ideas were assembled through various research and analysis on the market. The prototype was uploaded to the web, www.roommart.com.my.	Roommart was awarded RM 35,000 grant from the CIP. A mentor was assigned to Roommart. He was the CEO of KAO Company.
June, 2004	The first prototype was ready and the business plan was completed. Roommart Graduated from CIP 1 month ahead of time. Roommart continue to do it’s field-testing and secured a few agents to be its subscribers. The prototype was enhanced through internal trial and error.	Roommart was enrolled to Microsoft’s .NET Technopreneur Development Center (NTDC). NTDC provide us with the testing facilities in its labs and also provide supervision on .NET technology.
July, 2004 Till now	We proceeded to seed funding applications once we were officially graduated from CIP. Roommart (M) Sdn. Bhd. was established on 1st of September 2004. Currently, the team is seeking RM 0.5 million of equity capital to expand its development and marketing efforts for the next 3 years. Roommart plans to commence its business transactions by November, 2004, and launch the full product on the 20th of December, 2004.	Roommart is being monitored by Malaysia Venture Capital Management in its seed funding application.
